Titanium dioxide is a rotary titanium dioxide-based pigment. It is a white, dry and finely powdered powder. Also known as titanium (iv) or titanium oxide, it is the natural oxide of titanium, with the chemical formula tio2. When it is used as a pigment, it happens to be called titanium white, ci 77891or pigment white 6. It has a wide range of applications, from paint to sunscreen, to colorant. Titanium dioxide appears in nature as the well-known minerals: anatase, rutile, and brookite. The most general form use to be rutile, which also is the equilibrium stage at all temperatures.

In fact, this white pigment happens to be the most sold worldwide due to its properties. It is one of the whitest compounds that exist, it has a good dispersion, it is very stable and little toxic. Its applications extend to various sectors and it plays a very important role in some industries such as plastic paints, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, etc.
Use of the white pigment with cement and lime
In the field of cement, which is what it is specifically dealt here, its application consists in enhancing the whiteness of cementitious titanium dioxide Malaysia products. It is common for it to be used in some white mortars. These, even if they are made with aggregates and white cement, may need that push that this type of pigment gives to lose the yellowness.
